Still working on this aerial perspective...repainted sky today and worked on foreground details.

Started a new work today....it will be an aerial view with two perspectives of Hartlepool, the town I live in. It is a large canvas with deep edged sides....oil on canvas.

New work finished today, a return to my earlier exploration of the landscape. Oil on canvas.

Been away for a week in Scilly , back on the easel now and finishing this work....been a long haul on this one..again.....must become more loose with my next painting...

Leaves and a few more hours...12 hour painting shift...

Added foreground leaves and back lit section leaves........

Day 5 on this work now.....9 hours each day....nearly there...

Started tightening up areas and darkening foreground for depth, leaves will start appearing on the foreground tomorrow....

After many weeks this mammoth task is now at an end ....1,5m by 0.5 m , oil on canvas.  A fly fisherman contemplating the last cast of the day...Scottish River.....

Finished eventually, Ben Nevis with Scott's Pines, oil on canvas.

Finished this work today, eventually, after nearly 2 months....

Worked further on the foreground sections on the left hand side, added stunted Scott's Pine and on the right smaller vegetation types typical to the geography and location. Still much to do with water reflections and work on large trees and vegetation on the right hand side..small steps...

Mountains and sky now almost complete...

Mountain painted from Ben Nevis photos I took recently.....still a few days to go on this work...

Toning and trees added in background...tints to large tree in foreground..

Spent a few hours, about 7, I think on tints and adding some smaller trees for scale...more work on the larger trees needed , shadow areas still needed to define the leaves and foliage....

One more tree done...more to come on Monday...

Tackled another tree in the foreground today, painting starting to pull together in the front now , however much vegetation still to add to the foreground area in colours from the sky and mountains to create colour harmony. Onwards I go...patience and more patience..

Started with the foreground today...further work on Sunday and maybe a video to follow..

Started on the trees near the front today, will add a few for scale and recession, Scotts Pines....will upload a video tomm.....up early to forge on with this marathon work.....at 150 hours now...many more to go still...

Been working on this for 50 hours to date , during April. Long way to go still.....oil on canvas.

New landscape completed today, and rather pleased with it...only had to fight it a few times..so that is a good thing...dont like fighting a painting as it always shows it....love it when things just work...thanks for looking, Pierre.

Back to Seascapes ,,,again...??

New work from over the week...one of the most difficult pictures to photograph? nOT SURE WHY, BUT THE ORIGINAL IS MUCH CRISPER..DONT KNOW WHY THE CAMERA CREATING A HAZE EFFECT?? Anyway, put it in a room for feel of it...

Work sold last night online, has been in storage for 4 years or so....glad I kept it and didnt re-work it...was looking at it just last week...glad I left it alone...
